Federal prosecutors charged two 19-year-old St. Louis men on August 7 with aiding and abetting assault of federal agents for a July 29 traffic stop shooting in which 12 rounds of automatic fire were directed at police and ATF officers.

Two armed suspects opened fire on ATF agents conducting a firearms enforcement operation at a Nashville storage facility on August 6 and were killed; no agents were reported injured.
