Boston Man Detonates Wearable Explosive During Police Encounter in Charlestown

A Boston man strapped a homemade explosive to his body, called 911, and detonated it when officers arrived in Charlestown on September 22, leaving himself with serious injuries to his chest, neck, and wrist.
