An armed suspect with a long rifle and explosives has been barricaded since midday June 9 in a south Minneapolis apartment after firing on Hennepin County deputies, shooting down a police drone, and releasing two hostages; FBI and ATF are on scene with the standoff ongoing.

Army veteran Anthony Searles-Harris took 10 hostages at a Bakersfield Chase Bank claiming explosives were attached to them; FBI killed him after a 15-hour standoff on June 3 with all hostages safely recovered.
