Novelis targets late June repair for fire hit Oswego aluminum plant, extending supply and cost pressure on Ford

Novelis plans to finish repairs at its Oswego aluminum plant by late June 2026 after two fires, but the slow ramp and unresolved fire causes are prolonging supply and cost pressure for Ford and other automakers.
