Arcadia Mayor Charged as Illegal Agent of China in Local Influence Case

Arcadia Mayor Eileen Wang agreed to plead guilty to acting as an illegal PRC agent in a case showing how Chinese officials allegedly used community media, political operatives, and local influence networks to promote Beijing’s messaging inside Southern California’s Chinese American civic space.
